School Leadership and Governance (School Administration) 

The San Mateo County Office of Education supports the training, development, and ongoing professional development of school and district leaders.

Principals' Leadership Program (PLP) is an ongoing, job-alike series of professional development for practicing school administrators in San Mateo County. Topics include barriers to instructional leadership, the principal and C&I, the principal as technology leader, and the Principal and the English Learner, among others.

* ATP (formerly AB 430) Administrator Training Program
The San Mateo County Office of Education is now offering ATP (AB 430) Administrator Training Program.  ATP training provides 160 hours of high-quality professional development for school and district administrators. Our training curriculum is approved under the guidelines of AB 430 (formerly AB75).

*Administrator Leadership Forum

CONNECTING CURRENT IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS TO YOUR INSTRUCTIONAL DAY

The Administrator Leadership Forum addresses how you can connect current improvement efforts with your day to day support for improving student achievement and closing the achievement gap. Participants will be provided with current, research based improvement efforts and strategies for immediate implementation.
