WHO CAN ENROLL?

Priority enrollment is given to high school students.  Continuing adults, and San Mateo County residents may enroll on a first-come, first-serve basis if space is available.

IS LAB TIME AVAILABLE?

Lab time may be available or required.

ARE INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE?

Many classes offer non-paid internships with teacher approval.  Students receive classroom instruction prior to internships.  Schedules vary from 8-32 hours/week depending on course.  Class meets one day per week when internship begins.  Students must have a flexible schedule and arrange their own transportation.  This is a great opportunity for on-the-job work experience to add to your resume.

Internship placements are determined and/or approved by the instructor and are based on employer's needs.  An effort is made by the instructor to provide each student with an internship, but it is not guaranteed.

Age restrictions may apply due to labor law.  Other restrictions may apply depending on internship site.

CAN I TAKE MORE THAN ONE CLASS?

Yes, students may take more than one class. Students may also take more than one section of an open entry class to gain the advantage of completing their training in a shorter period of time. Adult students must pay the enrollment fee for each class section.
